This issue features five articles exploring diverse topics in music theory, performance, worship, traditional music, and music applications. The studies examine chord substitution and chord tension in musical arrangement, the role of individual practice in musical performance, the function and impact of drumset playing in worship, the development of a pitch system for the traditional “Bambu Entel” instrument of the Talaud Islands, and the application of 432 Hz music among young people experiencing sleep disturbances. Collectively, these studies highlight the diverse roles of music in artistic practice, religious worship, cultural preservation, education, and contemporary applications.
