Journal of Theory and Practice in Arts is a scientific journal that publishes research findings, theoretical studies, critical analyses, and creative practices in the field of arts. The journal focuses on the development of art theory, artistic practices, art education, art criticism, aesthetics, visual culture, and the application of arts within social and technological contexts. Current Issue
This issue features five articles exploring various aspects of music, including choral performance, traditional music, worship leadership, music education, and gospel music. The studies examine the influence of speaking behavior on choral presentation, Bia music as a traditional musical practice in Batu Village, the role of worship leaders in religious services, music arts learning at the senior high school level, and the role of gospel music in enhancing congregational participation and spiritual experiences. Collectively, these studies highlight the educational, cultural, religious, and social functions of music in diverse community contexts.
