This issue comprises seven articles addressing a range of topics in English Language Teaching, Applied Linguistics, Pragmatics, Discourse Analysis, and English Studies. The topics include the enhancement of speaking and listening skills, vocabulary acquisition through differentiated instruction, the use of constructive feedback, communication strategies in staff–guest interactions, implicature analysis in stand-up comedy, and a feminist analysis of the representation of women in the novel Cantik Itu Luka. Collectively, the articles in this issue offer empirical and analytical perspectives on the use, teaching, learning, and study of the English language across educational, social, professional, and literary contexts.
