ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A NEW ARTICLE TEMPLATE

The Editorial Board of Austronesian: Journal of Language Science & Literature is pleased to announce the implementation of a new article template , which will officially take effect beginning with Volume 5, Issue 2 (2026) . The new template has been developed to improve the consistency, clarity, readability, and overall presentation of articles published in the journal, while also supporting the journal’s continuing efforts to meet scholarly publishing standards.

Accordingly, all authors submitting manuscripts for consideration in Volume 5, Issue 2 (2026) and subsequent issues are required to use the new template available on the journal’s website. Authors are kindly requested to carefully follow the formatting and manuscript preparation guidelines provided in the template. The Editorial Board appreciates the cooperation of all authors, reviewers, and editorial team members in supporting this implementation as part of the journal’s ongoing commitment to maintaining high standards of academic publishing.

Announcement of Transitional Change of Editorial Board Chair

The Editorial Board hereby officially announces the change in the position of Editor-in-Chief of Austronesian: Journal of Language Science & Literature. This transition is undertaken as part of a strategic effort to enhance the journal’s visibility and reputation at both the national and international levels, to ensure the continued advancement of the scientific quality of its publications, and to uphold the highest standards of publication ethics. Accordingly, the Editorial Board of Austronesian: Journal of Language Science & Literature has resolved to appoint a new Chair of the Editorial Board. This appointment shall take effect as of 15 January 2026.
