Eco-lexicon of Gae in Nias Society: Ecolinguistics Perspective

Abstract

This study aims to describe the lexicon of gae -an in Nias society. The data in this research is the type of oral data in the form of a gae lexicon which is then transcribed in written form. The data collection method used in this research is an interview method with note-taking technique. The collected data were analyzed using Bang and Door's ecolinguistic theory as well as syntax theory. The results of the analysis are presented using formal and informal methods. Based on the results of the analysis carried out, there are findings, namely that there are 57 lexicons of gae -an in Nias society.
